Knowing the most adequate composite for each treatment
Choosing the right product is essential for the success of a restorative work which aims at fulfilling functional requirements and at offering high esthetics. In a not so distant past, it was common for dentists to use amalgam in posterior teeth in case of restorations due to cavities.
Although it fulfilled perfectly their masticatory function, when done correctly, those alloys had a shade that was very different from the natural shade of the teeth and fell into disuse and had its commercialization prohibited in certain places. With the technological advancements, composites and ceramics started to be used in the place of alloys for rehabilitating the function and, at the same time, promoting esthetics.
However, for each case, it is necessary to identify the material that is mostly recommended to the clinical situation. Presently, composites are the preferred material by professionals since they offer safety for anterior and posterior teeth, promote conservative repairs and maintain the structure of the tooth compared to more invasive a non-adhesive procedure. The clinical recommendations include direct and indirect restorations, pits and fissures sealing and even dental reconstruction and veneers.

Everyday simplicity and cost-benefit
Llis is a micro-hybrid composite, with a simplified system offering shades for enamel, dentine and incisal margins. With a great cost-benefit ratio, it is the most recommended composite for everyday restorations (occlusal, diastema reduction or closing, correction or alterations of tooth shape).
Other recommendations are for the adjustments of structural defects such as imperfect amelogenesis, hypoplasia of the enamel and non-carious cervical lesions. The product has the German technology Schott glass load with medium-sized particles, of 0.8μm, which allows for great polishing results.

OPUS BULK FILL APS
Longer working time under the illuminated field, allowing for sculpting and removal of undesired excess material
The low shrinkage stress of Opus Bulk Fill APS provides great curing depth. It is a class of compactable composites to simplify the application in posterior teeth in increments of up to 5mm, with no need of a capping layer. It is the ideal for clinical time saving when compared to the incremental technique for posterior teeth.
The APS technology allows for longer working time under an illuminated operation field, allowing for more than enough time for sculpting and the removal of excess marginal material.

OPUS BULK FILL FLOW APS
Ideal consistency and thixotropy that avoid excessive flow.
With ideal viscosity and anti-gravity effect, Opus Bulk Fill Flow APS is a composite for single increments, with low shrinkage stress when polymerizing, used for the base or substitute in dentin of posterior teeth. It is also characterized by the capacity to self-leveling, which allows for the perfect adaptation of the material to the margins of the area to be restored.
Opus Bulk Fill Fllow APS, manufactured by FGM, is exclusive for counting on an anti-gravity action, which favors the use in upper teeth, without running off, and allowing for normal sculpting. The spheric load is one of the advantages of this composite and the bulk fill technology makes it possible to have increments of up to 4mm thick, just needing to be covered by a restorative composite (bulk fill or not), for dentin, enamel or universal chroma.
Premium composite, esthetically differentiated, BPA-free and with all the advantages of the APS technology
A premium composite, with an exclusive polymerization technology: APS, which brings advantages to the efficiency of the polymerization if compared to other products. The technology allows for composite shade predictability even before photopolymerization (the shade does not change during polymerization), without preoccupation with clinical times, since APS allows for longer working time even under the reflector light – four times more. The energy is transmitted in chain and it is multiplied, potentializing the conversion rate and allowing for better esthetic results.
